On Sunday, January 28th, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Brazilian Province celebrated the Mass of Inauguration of the new provincial government for the four-year period from 2024 to 2028, in the chapel of the provincial house in São Paulo, Brazil.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Bishop Rubens Sevilha, diocesan bishop of Bauru, and concelebrated by several priests and a deacon, assisted by some seminarians. We had the joy of the presence of Mother Miriam Cunha Sobrinha, our Superior General, and many Sisters from the Brazilian Provinces, as well as lay people who share the Clelian charism.
During the Holy Mass, the Sisters who are now taking on the mission of leading our Province took an oath pledging to live as Apostles of Love, in fidelity to the Charism inherited from Mother Clelia, docile to the voice of the Holy Spirit and available to serve joyfully under the protection of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
