The Jubilee is, above all, a time of grace. It is a moment when the whole Church is called to renew its faith, open its heart to mercy, and walk in hope. At the heart of this jubilee experience, we find the Word of God, a source of life and essential nourishment for every Christian.
Pope Francis reminded us that the Word is not only an ancient text or a written tradition, but a living presence of God who speaks today to the heart of every person. To celebrate the Jubilee, therefore, means to once again place ourselves before Scripture with the attitude of those who listen, welcome, and allow themselves to be transformed.
The Word illuminates the Church’s steps, guides decisions, and strengthens the mission. It consoles in moments of sorrow, inspires acts of solidarity, and opens horizons of fraternity. In the Jubilee, we are invited to recognize that the mercy of God is concretely revealed in His Word, which always leads us to the love of the Heart of Jesus.
As Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, we feel the call to be messengers of this Word, bringing it to young people, families, the sick, and all those most in need of the Lord’s presence. Every mission, every gesture of welcome, every word of hope we share is born from the faithful listening to the Gospel.
In the jubilee context, the invitation is clear: to rediscover the centrality of the Word of God in daily life. This means dedicating time to prayerful reading of the Bible, allowing Scripture to inspire our choices, and finding, on every page, the merciful face of Christ.
The Jubilee is an opportunity to renew not only our spiritual life but also our commitment to the transformation of the world. When the Word becomes light for our path, it drives us to build communities that are more fraternal, just, and full of hope.
May this Jubilee be for all of us a time of deep listening and renewal in faith. May the Word of God, welcomed into our hearts, continue to bear fruits of mercy and love, opening for all humanity the doors of hope and new life in the Heart of Jesus.
